Man, I am horrible at writing these things. My boyfriend would probably make fun of me for it, but that's fine by me. We can't all agree on everything all the time. I'm sitting at college in the fireside room, where I am conveniently sitting in front of the fire. I'm thinking of how today's discussion in English 102 is relative to my life.
See, isn't he cute? |
The following quote is the part that I relate to: "Even if you have the wit to look by yourself in a bush away from other children, there are not many bell crickets in the world. Probably you will find a girl like a grasshopper whom you think is a bell cricket."
This is going to sound totally and completely cheesy, but I have found my bell cricket. It's like that cliche about the fish in the sea and all that. Every time I'm with my boyfriend, I am in complete awe. I have had many friends that have boy issues, and it's so nice to not have that problem. My boyfriend is my bell cricket. He's a grasshopper to many, many other people, but not to me. Heck, some people might even call him a cockroach, but that isn't important. I love him and that's all that matters.

In other news, the people in the fireside room are very annoying to me. There is one guy here that has a way loud voice, and he can't talk about anything interesting. He is convinced he is evil, and he talks about his cat that licks itself so much it sounds like it's masturbating. What's worse, I had to sit in front of him on the bus this morning. My iPod wouldn't go any louder. Hopefully this week is a good one. And today's favorite song would have to be What A Shame by Shinedown. Random fact for ya :)
